The Thurgoona Football & Netball Club was formed in 1988 and currently fields five football and seven netball teams in the Tallangatta & District League.
Football teams include Senior & Reserve open age teams, Under 17, Under 14 & Under 12 teams. Netball teams are fielded in A, B & C Grade open-age, and 18 & Under, 15 & Under, 13 & Under and Midgets (U/11's) age groups. Auskick & Net Set Go! Programmes also run for the youngsters.
