Redbacks Basketball Club

Redbacks Basketball Club Inc. is a well-established and passionate basketball club located in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The club was founded in approximately 1992, initially as a basketball team affiliated with the Pines Football Club in Salisbury South. As the club grew, it transitioned into the Pines Basketball Club before ultimately adopting the name Redbacks Basketball Club.

Redbacks became incorporated in 2013.

The club's primary home for games and training is the Parafield Gardens Recreation Centre, conveniently situated at the corner of Kings Road and Martins Road. Redbacks takes pride in its strong sense of community and offers a range of social media platforms and tools to keep members connected and informed. They have an active Facebook page where members can find updates and information, as well as the TEAMAPP, which provides access to game and event details for coaches, team managers, and the committee.

In 2019, the Parafield Gardens Recreation Centre, now managed by Belgravia Leisure, introduced an online registration system through SportsTG. With your club registration, you will have already paid for this service, so there's no need to make an additional payment at the end of the online form. The Gameday APP, available for free download or use on your desk/laptop, is another useful tool that provides weekly game times and the season fixture. This means that team game sheets will no longer be printed.

Please note that at the start of each season, the club's website may be undergoing updates and changes to reflect the upcoming season, including updated team information and court training times. The committee will work to update the website as soon as the grading process is complete, and training times have been allocated.
