Port Macquarie Basketball Association

The PMBA representative programme produced some amazing results in 2015 with teams taking out titles in Northern Junior League and Eastern Junior League resulting in 5 teams representing PNBA at either State Cup or State Shield.

2016 is a record year for PMBA. PMBA has 11 junior representative teams along with the state league men. PMBA has the Under 14 Women and Under 16 Men playing in the Country top League, 7 Northern junior league division 1 teams and 2 Northern Junior League division 2 teams, PMBA is very fortunate to have so many dedicated coaches and managers willing to give up their time for PMBA.

Our coaching programme has increased its ranks, and our coaching subcommittee is looking to initiate a new range of non-rep development programmes for our junior players. Our representative coaches have been exposed to a range of development sessions, and have had the opportunity to expand their qualifications under the guidance of Rex Nottage, Ian Robbilliard and the mentoring of our PMBA coaching director Nick Prior.
