Piara Waters Junior Football Club

Club is a vibrant and inclusive sports club located in Perth, Western Australia. The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities to join and participate in junior football. Whether they are new to the sport or avid AFL fans, the Piara Waters Pirates provide a fun and safe environment for kids to learn and enjoy the game.

The club values the involvement of families and encourages parents to be actively involved in the club. Without the support of sponsors and parent volunteers, the club wouldn't be able to provide the opportunities and experiences it does for its players.

The Piara Waters Junior Football Club was established in 2013 by a group of dedicated parents who recognised the need for a local club in the Piara Waters area. With guidance from the East Fremantle District, support from the City of Armadale, and the help of enthusiastic volunteers, the club had its inaugural season in 2014. Starting with just 53 players in Auskick teams, the club has since grown to over 320 players, including its first full female team.

In 2017, the Pirates were honoured as the East Fremantle District Junior Football Club of the Year, a remarkable achievement for such a young club. The club also introduced its first junior girls team, which quickly gained popularity. In 2018, the club expanded to nearly 400 children playing from pre-primary to year 9. To accommodate the club's growth and ensure the accessibility of local footy, a second venue, the Rossiter Pavilion, was secured.

The club's main facilities are located at the Piara Waters Pavilion on Wright Road, Piara Waters, while the Rossiter Pavilion serves as an additional venue. The Piara Waters Pirates are proud to call these sporting facilities their home and continue working with the City of Armadale to further develop and improve the club's space.
