Pelican Waters Bowls Club

Welcome to the Pelican Waters Bowls Club, a local community bowls club located in the picturesque Pelican Waters and Golden Beach area of the Sunshine Coast. We are proud to have been named the SCDMBA 2022 District Club of the Year, and our administration officer, Ian Heiner, was awarded the 2022 bowls secretary of the year.

At Pelican Waters Bowls Club, we are dedicated to providing quality lawn bowls and social facilities for our members and guests. Known as the friendliest lawn bowls club in Australia, we welcome visitors and new players to join us. Whether you are interested in becoming a member, learning the game of bowls, or simply enjoying our friendly and welcoming facilities, we invite you to give us a call or drop in.

Our club boasts two high-quality synthetic greens, allowing us to offer bowls activities every day of the week. We also have a Bistro serving delicious meals and a bar where you can enjoy the coldest beer in town, all at “genuine 1972 prices”*. As a non-profit organisation, we greatly appreciate the support of our sponsors and take pride in giving back to the community by providing excellent facilities for various community groups.

In addition to our regular bowls activities, we have achieved great success in competitions. In 2023, our club's Women's Division 8 and Men's Division 9 teams were crowned Pennant Winners. We also offer a Women's Bowling Arm session every Wednesday and a Men's Bowling Arm session every Tuesday, starting at 1pm. These sessions are open to all and provide a great opportunity to socialise and improve your bowling skills.

We are also excited to announce our partnership with ReCollect, a bottle and collection service, where you can choose to donate your bottles and cans refund directly to our club. ReCollect even offers a pickup service from your house, making it easy for you to support us while helping the environment.
