North Ryde Soccer Club is a well-established sports club located in Sydney, Australia. The club has a rich history, dating back to its formation in December 1953. Initially founded to serve the needs of a growing young district, North Ryde Soccer Club has since become a thriving community-based organisation.

In its early years, the club played district soccer in various associations, including the Northern Suburbs Association and the Gladesville-Hornsby Football Association. Over time, the club's success on the field allowed it to progress to higher divisions, coming close to reaching the National League. During the 1993 season, the club reached new heights, winning the Division 2 leadingship, becoming club champions, and triumphing in the Grand Final in front of over 2,000 spectators. Additionally, the club negotiated a move to play their home games at the T. G.

Millner Field, home of the Eastwood Rugby Club, further enhancing its image and facilities.

In 1994, North Ryde Soccer Club continued its impressive performance, finishing 6th in the First Division competition and coming close to victory against strong opponents like Blacktown City Demons and Marconi in the prestigious $50,000 Waratah Cup Round 6. The club also achieved success in the Reserve Grade, making it to the finals in the inaugural year of its five-year plan for success.

The following year, the club underwent a change of name, becoming the Ryde City “Gunners” for its representative sides. This change led to a wider support base, further strengthening the club's foundation. In 1995, all three grades made it to the semi-finals, with the First Grade finishing third. The Under 16 Youth League team also reached the final, showcasing the club's commitment to nurturing young talent.

North Ryde Soccer Club has built a reputation as a team that excels in cup competitions, consistently performing well and providing exciting matches. The club has a strong connexion with the Eastwood Rugby Club, using their facilities for various activities.
