North Ryde Junior Rugby League Football Club has a very long and proud history of Junior development in the Balmain District. Since its establishment in the early 60s the club has had many team and club championships to its credit as well as producing a number of league legends such as Paul Sironen, Ron Ryan, Garry Webster, Mark Lawson, Wayne Wigham and Ian Thompson. Still playing today are ex-Hawks, Kiwi International Dean Halatau, Roosters Mitchel Pearce, and Wallaby International Kurtley Beale.
