High Country Trail Rides

High Country Trail Rides is a sports club located in the Oberon Council area in New South Wales, Australia. They offer a range of outdoor activities and experiences, including horse riding, farm safaris, self-drive buggy tours, farm stay cabins, and interaction with friendly farm animals.

Visitors to High Country Trail Rides can start their adventure by riding a horse through the picturesque pine forest surrounding the area. Please note that horse riding numbers are limited, and staying guests have preference in booking rides. Day visitors are accommodated based on availability.

This ride is suitable for adults and children aged 4 years and above. A one-hour trail ride is available for adults and children aged 10 years and above, costing $85 per person ($75 for a family).

Experienced riders can opt for the 1. 5-hour trail ride, which includes bush trails and a small waterfall, at a cost of $130 per person ($120 for a family). Staying guests receive discounted rates for all rides.

High Country Trail Rides also offers self-contained farm cottages for those who wish to stay overnight. The cottages have log fires and are available in two-bedroom (sleeps 4) and three-bedroom (sleeps 6) options. The cost is $200 per night for the two-bedroom and $240 per night for the three-bedroom. Weekends and school holidays have a two-night minimum stay requirement.

For a unique and exciting experience, visitors can join one of the club's Polaris buggy tours. These guided tours are suitable for both adults and kids, with children over 10 years of age allowed to drive their own buggy. The tours are approximately one hour long and cost $80 per person ($70 for a family). Staying guests receive a discounted rate of $60 per person.

Another popular activity at High Country Trail Rides is the farm safari and animal feeding experience. Guests can take a personal farm safari to interact with a wide variety of friendly farm animals. The tours last for one hour or more and cost $150 per family (maximum of 5 guests). Staying guests receive a reduced rate of $100 per family.
