

The club has also played a greater role in community development over the past 7 years, incorporating programs such as Good Sports program, Women’s Round supporting Breast Cancer research and Local City Council events etc. The club currently has 169 active players after extensive recruiting. Since its formation, the club has won 36 Premierships and has been runner up on 33 occassions across all age groups from Juniors to Seniors. The future looks very bright for Melton now. With a solid administration, low costs, upcoming new facilities, and with the relative isolation of Melton; giving players little other choice, it should be possible for the Melton Hockey Club to become one of the premier clubs of the North West.
