About us Established in 1989, the Lysterfield Cricket Club is a proud member of the Ferntree Gully District Cricket Association. The club is based on Lakesfield Drive, Lysterfield and currently fields five senior teams, five junior teams and three veteran teams. The club also runs a successful Milo In-2-Cricket program which caters for five to eight year olds. The Beavers play a major role in the local community by offering young and old alike the chance to play cricket and make lifelong friendships. We are focussed on developing cricketers of all ages, from our juniors through to our veterans. We place a huge emphasis on laying the appropriate foundations for our junior cricketers by providing them with an encouraging, supportive and enjoyable environment. Players at all levels are encouraged to work towards cricketing goals and continual improvement with the guidance of our experienced coaches. With our current group of juniors and mix of youth and experience amongst seniors, the Beavers have a huge opportunity to become one of the powerhouse clubs in the FTGDCA over the coming years. Entering club coach Nathan Walsh is excited about the prospects for the 2015/16 season and into the future.
