Welcome to the Lilydale & District Night Tennis Association (L&DNTA) website! L&DNTA is one of the largest night tennis associations in outer eastern Melbourne, offering adult night tennis competitions throughout the week. We pride ourselves on catering to all player standards and providing a friendly and competitive environment for tennis enthusiasts.
What sets us apart from other tennis associations in Melbourne is our unique three-season competition. Each season lasts for 10 weeks, followed by finals. This structure allows teams to maximise the number of matches they play and enjoy a continuous tennis experience throughout the year.
- Thursday: Open Sets doubles competition and a recently introduced Singles/Doubles competition, where teams can be a combination of men and women.
All matches are played at alternating home and away venues for a balanced and fair competition.
We are proud to have 22 affiliated clubs with over 1,000 players in our association. However, you don't need to be a club member to join the L&DNTA competition. Simply enter a team and the association will allocate you a home court. It's that simple!
If you have any further queries or would like more information, please contact our Secretary, Steve Baldry, at sba00440@bigpond. Net. au. You can also find a list of our association office bearers on our website.
Visit our website to find home season information, ladders, finals locations, committee details, contact information, and more. We strive to provide a comprehensive and user-friendly online experience for all members and visitors.
At L&DNTA, we take pride in our commitment to the sport of tennis and promoting a vibrant tennis community in Melbourne. We look forward to welcoming you to our association and enjoying many exciting matches together!
