Kangaroo Ground Pony Club

Welcome to Kangaroo Ground Pony Club (KGPC), located in Melbourne, Australia. Our club is dedicated to providing a friendly and supportive environment for riders of all levels. We aim to encourage young people to ride and enjoy all approved types of sport connected with horses and riding.

At KGPC, we emphasise quality and safety in our instruction. Our experienced instructors provide top-notch horsemanship and riding lessons, ensuring that our members develop their skills while also caring for their animals properly. We also promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship, and loyalty, shaping our members' character and fostering a sense of community.

Our equestrian facility is second to none. With six arenas, a handy mount ring, a cross country course, sheds, and a clubhouse, we provide our members with everything they need for a fulfilling equestrian experience. We continually work to improve and upgrade our facilities, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and club members.

We hold rallies on the first Saturday of each month (excluding January), providing opportunities for members to come together, participate in activities, and learn from one another. If you wish to take part in our Pony Club competitions, remember to bring your Grading Card.

Our committee members are a friendly and welcoming bunch. Loretta, our DC (District Commissioner), has been actively involved in equestrian sport for 35 years and is passionate about inspiring young riders to reach their full potential. Simon, our president, is an expert at running working bees and making delicious coffees. Mel, our secretary, brings her organisational skills and lively British spirit to the team.

Sam, our vice president, always has a warm hug and kind words for our members. Mandy, our treasurer, ensures our club stays on track with her number-crunching abilities.
