The dance centre is a purpose-built facility, offering a relaxed country setting for members to enjoy superb dancing.
For those interested in learning to square dance, the club offers classes on Tuesday nights. The next class will commence on July 25, 2023, starting at 7:00 pm. Participants can expect to dance in squares and make a circle of new friends. Visitors are always welcome, but it is recommended to contact the club before attending a dance class.
The club's main caller and cuer are experienced professionals who guide members through the dance routines. Their expertise ensures a fun and enjoyable experience for all participants.
In addition to square dancing, the club also offers opportunities to learn round dancing and clogging, although these programmes may not be currently available due to lack of participation.
The club's regular programme includes meetings on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month from February to November. The evening begins with round dancing or plus at 7:00 pm, followed by square dancing at 7:30 pm at the mainstream level. On the fifth Saturday, the club holds a special themed night and celebrates with a combined supper. Some upcoming themes include “Sport” on July 29th and “Floral” on September 30th.
Visitors are always welcome to attend the club's Monday night sessions, which focus on the plus programme from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
