While most teams are self-managed, the club makes an effort to place individual players in teams if needed. Balmain Touch also participates in the Junior State Cup, a tournament held in Wagga Wagga.

Trials for the Junior State Cup start in September, with training conducted in October and November. Gala days are held in December and January, culminating in the state cup at the end of February.
