The Victorian Goalball Association is a sports club based in Melbourne, Australia, dedicated to the promotion and development of goalball, a sport designed for and played by blind and vision impaired individuals. This fast-paced indoor sport relies on hearing and provides an inclusive and competitive environment for participants.
For those interested in getting involved, the Victorian Goalball Association welcomes everyone to come and check out the sport. The local competition takes place at the Scotch College Junior School Gym, starting at 9:20am every Saturday from April until September. The venue is conveniently located at gate 7 on the corner of Callentina Road and Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn.
In addition to the regular competition, the Victorian Goalball Association also organises come and try days throughout the year. These events provide a friendly and safe environment for individuals to try out goalball and experience the excitement of the sport firsthand.
