Welcome to Colonel Light Gardens FC (CLGFC), also known as the Lions! Established in 1927, CLGFC is a sports club based in Adelaide, Australia. CLGFC is an incorporated association and is proudly affiliated with the South Australian Amateur Football League (for seniors) and with the Metro South Junior Football League (for juniors).

With a rich history of success, CLGFC has achieved A Grade leadingships in 1927, 1929, 1932, 1949, 1962, 1983, 1989, 1993, 1995, and 2007. The club fields senior teams in A, B, and C grades, and also has a comprehensive junior programme with teams in various age groups including U7, U8, U9, U9 Girls, U11, U11 Girls, U12, U13, U14, U15, and levels in 2023.

In addition to providing competitive football opportunities, CLGFC is committed to developing future footballers through its popular Auskick programme. This programme is open to young children and their families who are looking to get involved in Australian football.

With over 96 years as a club, CLGFC is proud of its legacy, which includes 29+ leadingships and a strong membership base of 399+ registered players. As an inclusive club, CLGFC welcomes individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for players to develop their talents.
