California Superbike School is a sports club located in Sydney, offering top-notch training and coaching for motorcycle enthusiasts. With over 30 years of experience, the school has been training champions and helping riders understand the science of riding.

The school's programme is designed to provide riders with a deep understanding of the techniques and skills needed to control motorcycles effectively, no matter the speed. This is achieved through a combination of technical classroom content and practical on-track drills, allowing students to experiment with the techniques they have learned.

Before being allowed to coach students, the coaches undergo an intensive selection and training programme. They must pass technical exams and go through an on-track apprenticeship where their riding skills, on-track observations, and communication skills are evaluated and honed.

During a school day, riders have the opportunity to hire the ultimate riding machine, the BMW S1000RR, provided by BMW Motorrad Australia. This allows riders to experience the thrill of riding a high-performance motorcycle while receiving top-notch instruction.

To ensure a seamless experience, California Superbike School provides workshop assistance throughout the day. Additionally, riders can purchase premium Metzeler tyres for extra grip on both the road and the track. Gear rental is also available, so riders can simply show up in shorts and a shirt, and the school will take care of the rest.

The school's coaching team consists of at least a dozen highly qualified coaches who interact with students throughout the day. Each student has a coach who follows them on the track, observing specific aspects of their riding. Immediate feedback is given through pre-arranged hand signals, and coaches can pull off with riders for more detailed feedback. Coaches also demonstrate specific techniques and lines, debrief with riders after every ride, and provide tailored solutions based on the riders' skill levels.

The student-to-coach ratio is kept at 3:1 to ensure personalised attention and effective learning.
