Located at Hagenauer Reserve in Box Hill, Box Hill Little Athletics Centre (Centre Number 21) is one of the very best Little Athletics Centres in Victoria. Established in 1968, Box Hill LAC offers an U6-U17 track and field programme on Sunday afternoons and Cross Country in the winter months.
The club welcomes new members and provides a supportive and engaging environment for young athletes to develop their skills and passion for athletics.
Box Hill Relay Day is an annual event that showcases the excitement and talent of young athletes. This year, it will be held on Sunday, 12th November. Over 450 teams have entered, making it a promising and action-packed day. Gates open at 8am, with the first race starting at 9am.
Spectators are required to purchase a gate entry ticket for $3 (plus a 50c booking fee), excluding competing athletes, children under 6, and BHLAC members.
All Box Hill parents are also expected to contribute by completing at least one parent duty at Box Hill Relay Day. There are various types of duties available, and parents can sign up for a role on the website.
In addition to Relay Day, Box Hill LAC also participates in other exciting events such as the Eastern Region Relay Day on 18th November and the State Relay Championships on 16th December at Lakeside Stadium. These events provide opportunities for athletes to compete and showcase their talents at a regional and state level.
