Bayside Runners and Walkers is a social sports club located in Brisbane, Australia. The club welcomes runners and walkers of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes. The club meets every Saturday morning at Les Moore Park on Wilson Esplanade in Victoria Point. The meeting time is 6:00 am, and members have the option to either run or walk for a 30 to 50-minute duration. The path follows a 5 km out-and-back route, allowing participants to turn around at any point and adjust the distance according to their preference. After the run or walk, members gather at a local bakery for coffee and a chat, creating a sense of community and camaraderie.

In addition to the regular Saturday morning meet-up, the club organises various mid-week runs for members who are training for upcoming events. These runs are led by fellow members and provide an opportunity for participants to challenge themselves and improve their endurance.

One of the key aspects of Bayside Runners and Walkers is its inclusive nature. People of all abilities and ages, ranging from 2 to 70+, are encouraged to join. Whether an individual prefers walking, jogging, or running at a competitive pace, they will find like-minded individuals who share their passion for outdoor activity.

The club offers a free trial session for prospective members to experience the friendly atmosphere and meet existing members. If interested in continuing, the annual membership fee is $25 for individuals and $70 for families. The membership fee includes a range of benefits, such as support and encouragement from fellow runners and walkers, access to regular training sessions, a monthly 5 km time trial to monitor progress, peer coaching and advice from experienced runners, a safe environment for junior members to participate in healthy activities, access to club merchandise, and discounts for various events.

By joining Bayside Runners and Walkers, members also gain simultaneous membership to Queensland Athletics, which includes personal accident insurance coverage while participating in club activities.
