Welcome to the Ann Roberts School of Dance, a renowned sports club located in Townsville. With a rich history dating back to 1957, the school offers a comprehensive dance education and fosters personal development for each student.

At the Ann Roberts School of Dance, the dance year is divided into four terms. Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to participate in exams, Eisteddfod competitions, community performances, open days, and the highly anticipated Annual Recital. The school follows the principles outlined in the Ausdance Code of Practise, ensuring a high standard of training and professionalism.

The main studio is situated at Pirani Hall, located at 8-10 Fletcher Street, where Studios 1, 2, and 3 are situated. Additionally, Studios 4, 5, and 6 are located at 853 Flinders Street, all conveniently situated in the heart of Townsville.

Dance is more than just a physical activity at the Ann Roberts School of Dance; it provides a learning experience that extends beyond the dance floor. Students develop strong technical and performance skills, while forging lifelong friendships and experiencing joy and pleasure throughout their dance journey.

The school is proud to be family owned and operated, with its founder, Ann Roberts (mother of Jane Pirani), establishing the school over six decades ago.
