Adelaide Secondary School of English, located in the inner western suburbs of Adelaide, is a sports club that caters to a culturally diverse student population. Its vision is to foster intercultural understanding and educate students in English language skills. The school premises were originally a large co-educational government high school, accommodating up to 1,200 students. Situated on an attractive site with mature trees, gardens, and lawned areas, Adelaide Secondary School of English provides a pleasant environment for learning and sports activities. The school buildings are divided into two main wings: the east wing and the west wing. These wings house teaching classrooms, science laboratories, computing suites, teacher preparation offices, admin offices, and meeting rooms.

Additional buildings scattered between the wings accommodate more classrooms, teacher preparation areas, home economics and technology studies teaching areas, a student services centre, and an art room.

The school is proud to offer various facilities to enhance students' learning experiences. The east wing features a multipurpose room equipped with an interactive whiteboard, IT equipment, stage lighting, sound system, and conference tables and chairs. Another conference room, recently refurbished, is attached to the student services centre. The campus also includes a refurbished air-conditioned gymnasium, a canteen facility, and a resource centre with a teacher reference area and a book room.

In proximity to the gymnasium, students can enjoy an expansive oval, which is well-maintained and ideal for sports activities. Sheds for ground maintenance equipment are located on the perimeter of the ovals.

Although the school buildings date back to the 1950s, they have been meticulously maintained and recently painted both externally and internally. Refurbishment, cleaning, and maintenance work are continuously carried out to ensure a safe and functional learning environment.
